Laguna Woods residents with one or more dogs licensed by Laguna Woods Animal Services are invited to apply for appointment to the City of Laguna Woods’ Dog Park Advisory Group. Appointments are made by the members of the Laguna Woods City Council. Interested residents – including residents with related experience, training, and expertise – are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
The Dog Park Advisory Group will meet bimonthly to provide citizen advice and oversight on matters pertaining to the operation and maintenance of “A Place for Paws” Dog Park including, but not limited to, rules, regulations, physical conditions, and capital improvement projects. The Dog Park Advisory Group will also be consulted for assistance in identifying desired dog park-related programs, projects, and services as a part of each of the City’s two-year budget and work plan development processes.
